- The $40 million mark was set so ESCOM's stock would not drop. By quoting
- that figure, ESCOM is hoping that their stock will not dip. All stock
- holders figure that now the stock will fly, and they will hold on. In
- reality, it will probably fall. There is no was Viscorp could come up
- with $40 million on their own. They would have needed financial backers.
- Such as some big European Company (who already knows what the Amiga can
- do in the US if marketed, licensed & used right) or possibly the Chinese
- (who own Lisa, Paula & Denise Technology). In reality, it was probably
- below or just around $20 million. Who really cares? If Viscorp has
- control now, then I guess we need to give them some time to get there
- sh-t in gear. Lets hope that the technology continues & we see more
- computers (AMIGAs) instead of ITV (Interactive TeleVision) set top
- boxes.
